The beautiful wool was grown from our registered Romney Longwool ram Isildur and his daughter Shelob. This mix is they perfect balance if loft and drape while maintaining that shine.
This skein is a 3-ply, 4 ounces measuring 200 yards in length. This is on the spectrum of worsted weight at a grist of 762.
My small flock of registered Romneys longwool sheep make a luscious and soft fleece with a pearlescent sheen. The sheep are raised on pasture and carefully raised to protect their health as well as that of the surrounding habitat <3
