Pearly Skein *Limited Batch* - Sport

$34.00

Undyed and pearly in its natural state!

The beautiful wool was grown from our  registered Romney Longwool ewe Xander. She is the loftiest of our girls with the most fine fleece, gorgeous crimp and shine. We decided to process her wool on its own because she had a difficult beginning to 2025 and we were scared that we’d lose her. Well, she is doing just fine and producing more beautiful wool that we have been convinced to run on its own because it is absolutely GORGEOUS.

This skein is a 3-ply, 4 ounces measuring 300 yards in length. This is a sport weight at a grist of 1201.

My small flock of registered Romneys longwool sheep make a luscious and soft fleece with a pearlescent sheen. The sheep are raised on pasture and carefully raised to protect their health as well as that of the surrounding habitat <3

This was made by a small farm local to Ithaca, NY using ethical and sustainable farming practices. Each skein may have slight variations compared to the one pictured due to the nature of hand processing.

*Processed at a woman owned mill in Junction, Vermon
