Almond + Dark Chocolate Sourdough Loaf
Our original sourdough recipe with crushed almonds, cacao powder, and 72% dark chocolate chips mixed in. This loaf is beautifully fragrant when toasted up and NOT sweet due to the only added sugars coming from the dark chocolate chips. If you would like to sweeten up the bread, then toasting with butter and sprinkling with brown sugar or drizzling with honey / spreading with a dark fruit jam - like cherry compote or raspberry.
We use locally-sourced organic milled flour from Farmer Ground Flour :)
Ideas for use:
Toast topped with soft goat cheese and jelly
Dark fruit jelly :)
Cheeseboard addition
Experimental sweet BBQ sandwich OR chicken mole Sandwich
